Kimberly Castner

Psychologist, Pennsylvania Psychology License

For the last twenty years I have provided therapy for individuals experiencing challenging life circumstances with presenting concerns of depression, anxiety, grief, PTSD, family violence, child physical and sexual abuse, sexual assault, and difficult medical diagnoses. I provide my clients with a safe setting in which to share their concerns and work toward awareness, understanding, development of coping strategies, problem solving, and goal attainment. I have experience as a therapist in private practice, community mental health, a college counseling center, a traumatic brain injury day treatment program, a residential setting for adjudicated youth, and a domestic violence shelter and counseling center. I work closely with clients in establishing a trusting rapport and in determining treatment objectives in a manner that is most comfortable for them. I also have experience performing psychological evaluations, family/couples therapy, and the delivery of trauma-informed care.
